KEWBS PRELAUNCH TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service govern your use of the KEWBS prelaunch website and participation in the KEWBS Patron reservation program. The website and program are operated by KEWBS LLC (“KEWBS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using this website or completing a reservation, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, the age of legal majority where you reside, or make the reservation with the authorization and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You may use only a payment method that you are legally authorized to use. You agree to provide accurate and complete contact and payment information.
Nature of the Reservation
The prelaunch reservation is not the purchase or preorder of a KEWBS puzzle or any other physical product. It does not constitute a Kickstarter pledge and does not guarantee that the KEWBS Kickstarter campaign will launch or successfully fund.
The reservation identifies the customer as a KEWBS Patron and provides eligibility for the benefits advertised at the time of reservation, which may include designated Patron pricing and the option to personalize an eligible KEWBS stand plaque.
Redeeming Patron Benefits
To redeem Patron benefits, the reservation holder must complete an eligible pledge through the KEWBS Kickstarter campaign and follow the instructions provided by KEWBS.
The reservation payment is separate from the Kickstarter pledge and will not automatically be deducted from the pledge amount.
Unless otherwise stated, one reservation provides Patron benefits for one eligible KEWBS puzzle. Patron benefits have no independent cash value and may not be sold separately.
KEWBS may compare the email address used for the reservation with the email address associated with the Kickstarter pledge or pledge manager to verify eligibility. We recommend using the same email address associated with your Kickstarter account for the Patron pledge.
Personalized Inscriptions
Eligible Patrons may request a name or brief inscription for the stand plaque associated with a qualifying KEWBS pledge.
Inscriptions are limited by the physical engraving width of the plaque. Most inscriptions may contain approximately 14–16 characters, including spaces and punctuation; exceptionally wide characters may reduce the available character count.
KEWBS may request modification of an inscription that cannot be reproduced reliably, exceeds the available engraving area, uses unsupported characters, infringes another party’s rights, or contains unlawful or inappropriate content.
The Patron is responsible for verifying spelling, capitalization, spacing, and punctuation before submitting an inscription. If no inscription is received by the stated deadline, KEWBS may produce the standard serial-number plaque instead.
Refunds
Reservations are fully refundable as described in our Refund Policy. A customer-requested refund generally cancels the associated Patron benefits.
Kickstarter and Other Third-Party Services
Kickstarter, SHOPLINE, LaunchBoom, LaunchKit, payment processors, Meta, and other linked services are independent third-party platforms with their own terms and policies.
Any eventual KEWBS purchase, pledge, manufacture, fulfillment, or delivery will be governed by the terms published through the Kickstarter campaign and its associated pledge manager.
Intellectual Property
The KEWBS name, logos, puzzle designs, photographs, graphics, text, videos, and other website content are owned by or licensed to KEWBS LLC and may not be reproduced or commercially used without written permission.
Website Use
You may not use this website fraudulently or unlawfully, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious software, or misrepresent an affiliation with KEWBS.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KEWBS LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the prelaunch website or reservation program. KEWBS LLC’s total liability arising from a reservation will not exceed the amount paid for that reservation, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Changes
We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version with a new effective date. The Terms in effect when a reservation is completed will ordinarily govern that reservation.
